How does the above stack up against the raspi?
good to use as android phone :=)
if you add the needed hardware
night for now
good to use as android phone :=)
It lacks the hardware. I think it might be able to do skype or
something along that line. Beats me since I don't require, or would
even use, an internet based phone. fidonet is the closest I get to
text messaging.
if you add the needed hardware
I'll have a looksee later but offhand it I wanted and/or needed a smartphone I'd just buy one. I see no reason to grow my own.
night for now
Yes it is.
all needed hardware exists if one like ot build a phone with
base hardware on any raspberry pi
we both waiting for harmony os from huawei
no need to root the os later :=)
new kernel 5.14.10
new kernel 5.14.10
I still have some cleaning up to do before having a look. So far I am sticking with 5.10 kernels.
It doesn't matter which gcc on this tablet. Best I can do is clang. :::sigh:::
<Esc>:read !clang --version
clang version 12.0.1
Target: aarch64-unknown-linux-android24
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /data/data/com.termux/files/usr/bin
That is the same version I am using (not much) on a real computer.
If it wasn't for vim I'd ditch this.
Best I can do is clang. :::sigh:::
+1
if one did add husky to pgk build, i would use it in termux
vim is not that important when you can do pkg install mc, with
have mcedit aswell

+1-1
if one did add husky to pgk build, i would use it in termuxThe source requires some alterations in order to facillitate clang.
vim is not that important when you can do pkg install mc, withIt will work but why?
have mcedit aswell
Life is good,
it needs work
it needs work
it does not require extra pkg install :=)
it needs work+0
it needs work+0
It is worth repeating despite it's value.
it does not require extra pkg install :=)
Neither does vim. On the 10" tablet vim is far more attractive than
mc.
Also vim is less DOSie and more UNIXie. Besides without vim,
termux isn't worth nearly as much.
fair, maybe even qemu will run in termux ? :=)
synology nas have debian chroot, so it can run windows
as a edittor vim is not better then nano,
at home i work with qemu now,
but one day still have only 24 hours,
