  • netmail or email?

    I'm a little confused here...

    I understand that netmail is messages sent through an FTN (or I guess) QWK network, but mostly used with fidonet for sending messages from one node or point to another.

    (E) NetMail Address : nige@nigelreed.net

    So wouldn't this be "Email Address" ?

    In which case

    (M) Forward E-mail to NetMail : On (nige@nigelreed.net)

    Should this not be forward NetMail to Email?

    I assume we're sending anything bound for me at my node so sysop@1:124/5016 would be directed to my email address?

    Just wanted to check the logic before opening an issue.

    Yes. Or it could be the other way around.

    Just wanted to check the logic before opening an issue.

    We use terms fairly interchangeably since pretty much anywhere/prompt that an email address is accepted, a netmail address is allowed as well.
