  • setting up my new synchronet bbs

    I am able to work this all locally and i see my ports open from a web port scanner, but I cannot get to the bbs from web. I also made my qwk account as you
    can see. What am I missing to get traffic on the web pointed at my bbs. i set it
    up as ricksbbs.synchro.net I am sure it is something obvious. any tips? also my bbs is not showing up on the bbslist from vertrauen. Any help will be greatly appreciated. rickyhsutphin@gmail.com or here on the dove net. Thanks guys.

    The hostname ricksbbs.synchro.net is not resolving to anything, so you apparently don't have the DynDNS module enabled or configured correctly (your QWKnet password, maybe?):

    ricksbbs.synchro.net now resolves, and connecting via Telnet is successful.
