Rand Paul voted against re-opening it just a few days ago because he
said it didn't do enough for hemp production. That miserable
POS/SOB/RINO let military families starve because of f'n hemp? That's despicable. There's only 1 thing left for him to do; resign in
disgrace.
It's great that the government is back on track, but is it really back
on track? With these slimy aholes in office? What great thing are they gonna do next?
Rand has a bit of a point: The Dems snuck in something extra in the spending bill that basically puts hemp farmers out of business.
Why? I have no idea. That item should never have been in the bill.
But he wasn't correct in that we should continue to hurt thousands of people for the sake of a few - which can be corrected later.
So only a "bit" of a point.
This whole time I was blaming Democrats for the shutdown, but they're
only partly to blame. What's up with the RINOs in the Senate?

RINOs and Libertarian Rand Paul

If I understand correctly, the hemp ban was still ultimately included,
so Rand's half-assed-hero move was still for nothing.
I've noticed the RINO in him coming out more and more. He's probably
the biggest faker of all the senate RINOs. I hope he doesn't run for president.
Yes. The left is into experimentation, and they're experimenting with
all kinds of things lately.
The labor unions in my state are telling their members that "The
socialist Democrats are the enemy" and that they "have to support the regular Democrats."
Nice experiment. It will play out great for them as long as nobody asks any questions.
And relax because Comrade Mamdani was told he's not going to be able to raise taxes like he wants to... your Governor told him.
Well, she waited until he was elected... But the free Bus stuff is a no-go.
I wouldn't mind if they had free buses in NYC. He's not as bad as the media's making him out to be. The media is trying to scare people, but
in reality he's no worse than Eric Adams.
You might end up with homeless sleeping and whatnot on the bus because it's free.
I think because you have to pay to get on it you won't be subject to all the extra stuff that goes with it.
SOLVE the problem, find work and good paying jobs rather than having a free for all to get votes.
In 2030 the voters in NYC can consider that as an option, but it's ultimately up to the uniparty. Maybe they'll want to "fix problems they created." (They must be familiar with that by now.)

I think Gen Zs could be the worst. Its hard to get people are focused on things when there's a group that are brain dead.
my oldest daughter, born in 1984... Maybe GenX?? maybe not... Tough as nails... She would have been out cutting the lawn while breast feeding my grandson... My little one, Amanda is 15, and she'd panic if I didn't
drive her to school.

Now why would the people who created the problems want to fix them?
The purpose of creating those problems was to gain power. To fix the problems would mean loss of power.
Didn't Starbucks FAFO on that when they allowed them to use their restrooms in the cafes?
That's part of NYC's problem; young people think it's cool to live
there. Also people from other countries. They think it's great because it's iconic. But all that allure is catching up with it.

It's probably got something to do with the educational system devolving.

Right. They won't "want" to fix anything, but they'll sabotage the city
to create the opportunity to say that they "want" to fix it, but first they'll "need your vote" in order to do it.

<---- This guy doesn't do Starbucks.
Funny story... Tim Hortons is the Canadian Starbucks... In Edmonton
there was a homeless lady asking to use the restroom... they said "NO"...She pulled her pants down and dropped a Chalupa and then walked out.
Local policy is to let people use the restroom @ Timmies now.

The left talks about everything being free... You know that that's not true... And the left offers free blue and pink hair die,
It could take generations to fix this.
When I was in school sex ed was 1 period in grade 6... That pretty much covered it... you found out how babies are conceived and what you
weren't told you could extrapolate the complete story.
I think things have morphed from sex ed to some kind of gender ed.
Where they aren't covering topics on reproduction but rather
woke-gender stuff.

And, sorry to say this... Amanda goes to a Catholic School, can you imagine what's going on at the Public Schools.
The new Democrats...er... Socialists just break stuff and tell you that they are going to fix them using Socialism - which has never fixed anything in history.
I guess that's one way to do it.
In the case of Starbucks, the homeless were basically living there, smelling the place up, doing drugs in the bathrooms, and generally
making the paying customers not go their for their fruu fruu coffee drinks.
You can add the Roman Catholic Church to the list of woke organizations.
I go to Catholic mass every week and it's getting worse and worse.
They're trying to teach the parishioners to welcome illegal immigrants,
to appreciate universities, and to donate to non-profit organizations. Church is not what it used to be, either.
