    The Jimmy Kimmel Show has been pulled from the air with immediate effect. ABC is afraid to keep the show on the air for fear of massive fines from the Trump administration. The dictatorship is supported by the major television networks. Step by step, the US is being transformed into an autocracy. Canceling the most critical talk show hosts is a major step in this process. He is number two of three. I hope Steven Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel will seek their fortunes in their own companies, primarily targeting independent viewers online.

    Not much more to add to what you said.

    Firstly I don't find his statements to be offensive at all, there is enough there to question the narritive of the shooters motives, and who is gaining the most politically out of this.

    IF this was prefuly an ABC decision then it would not have 1st Amendment implications. "At will employment" and all that.

    However, the threats made to ABCs broadcast licenses, and the implications that those threats were the spark, and the catalyst for his firing definately have freedom of the meida implications.

    Very slippery slope we have found ourselvs sliding down!
