One of the reasons Republicans give for not contradicting Trump is that they are literally waiting for him to die and then want to take over his base... They live in a dream world. In a cult, you don't just easily "take over" the previous leader's base... You have to bring your own personality to the table.

    This is not true.

    Daddy Trump puts America 1ST
Daddy Trump is bringing home TRILLIONS in investment opportunities for the US Daddy Trump is winning with tread deals and bringing home manufacturing.
Daddy Trump is draining the swamp and getting rid of wasteful spending.
Daddy Trump did more in a few months than any other president.

Obama once said that trump couldn't bring home manufacturing.... How?? With a magic wand?? Daddy Trump's magic is that he loves hos country and he puts America first... and his Super Model wife doesn't have a penis.

I'm for Trump 2028... The De,mocrats showed a way to have a president with a 3rd term... Like Barry did with Biden. I just argue that JD working as an apprentice over the next few years will be fine... That and Marco as his VP will be wonderful.

The Democrat party is dead... The old guard Republican party... dead as well. The Populous American First republican Party is alive!!!

The name of the game in a multi racial multi ethnic democracy is patronage. Votes are purchased by gifts from the public purse.

and right about now someone is going to bitch to me about how things are not supposed to be this way, or we are this type of system not that type of system. I don't care, learn the difference between is and aught.

While Trump delivers very little, almost zero, he has delivered more to the white working man in this country than any other GOP candidate in lifetimes. In many respects the GOP is worse than the dems because they sell hope and when it comes time to deliver they falter. This is in no large part because they are the designated losers of the system. They are the outer party to the dems inner party.

When Trump dies anyone can take his crown by doing one simple thing, providing patronage. The dems deliver patronage by the boatload to their people. Good jobs in the state or universities and nearly unlimited funding for their pet projects through organizations like USAID.

Trumps defunding of USAID was great but he needs to do more and fund right wing programs.

If the GOP can not find it within themselves to own who their voters are, for the most part white men, and provide them with the things they want. Trumps base will tune out and depending on age radicalize more.

    What programmes does USAID fund?

USAID funds more than 6,000 global programmes in health, education,
climate change, food security, humanitarian assistance, governance and democracy.

    Health

USAID supports PEPFAR for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, mainly in
Africa. It also funds initiatives against malaria, tuberculosis and
severe malnutrition. It also supports vaccine development and women's reproductive health.

    Democracy and Governance

Some 38% of USAID's budget promotes democracy and human rights, with
more than $14 billion allocated in 2023, focusing on Ukraine. Projects strengthen media, civil society and anti-corruption efforts.

    Humanitarian Assistance

In 2023, 22% of funds addressed humanitarian crises in countries like
Sudan and Ukraine, providing food, water, shelter and long-term
    nutrition services.

    Climate Change and Food Security

USAID collaborates to develop climate solutions, improve land
management, and invest in renewable energy. In Colombia, it enhances
climate resilience and promotes climate-smart agriculture.

    Education

USAID supports teacher training, school management and scholarships,
with initiatives to increase girls' school enrolment in countries like Mozambique and Nepal.

Yeah... great talking points there, likely harvested right off the DNC manifesto, right?

Here's a valid question (which I admit to not knowing the answer to): You cited a few percentages above there. What percentage of their funding went to "overhead"...? Yeah, that vague category that actually means "lines the pockets of corrupt politicians" and "other personnel"...? Do you know?

No one would have cared if the money went to a cause... BUT it didn't it just disappeared...

Just like when Joe Biden gave Lizzo, I mean Stacey Abrams, $2,000,000,000.00 as an NGO she setup a few months prior so that she could seed liberal causes.

No Victims of the LA fires received any money at all.

USAID gave money to liberal pet projects, one of them was a George Soros project... and it is known that George funneled the money back to the Democrats.

Moreover, with Trump's American First policies he's going to take care of Americans First.

My response here was to someone who believes that people will die if USAID is shut down... They were talking about expense of managing the funds at USAID and possible expenses at the NGOs as being some needed evil.

USAID was shut down because ~90% of the money leaving it could not be accounted for and that the NGOs chosen were dubious, at best, but linked back to the Democrat party.

Since Trump stopped these illegal uses of taxpayer money the DNC has no money in their war chest.

In this case, some of that NGO money **was** going to humanitarian needs (i.e. the fact) but, as you correctly point out, ~90% was not. So we end USAID, we defund the NGOs, and that <10% spent on humanitarian needs will be gone and "people will die".

Sure, a little overhead is expected. I highly doubt that figure is accurate, and don't have the time needed to check it. VERY unlikely that it's that low, when you get down into the multilevel count of "middlemen" who all need their cut. I'd bet it's closer to 50% when the trickle-down is finished.

US taxpayer money on them before we took care of those starving or dying of communicable diseases right here in our own country? Or those Americans who are homeless, or veterans killing themselves because of PTSD related issues?

My whole point here is that our tax dollars should be spent on AMERICANS.

As for the libs being upset because they were the only ones

That's happening regardless of what USAID may have done. Zero effect on that by closing down USAID.

To summarize all of this above stuff into one question:

Can you tell my EVEN ONE reason that we should spend American money on other countries, when there are MILLIONS of AMERICANS who need assistance first?

I've seen drastic changes to the countries with the few generations I've seen. My grandfather during the depression time use to walk around with his carpentry tools knocking on doors to see if they need anything fixed.

There was a hill near his house called the 88 cent hill... They were building a road over that hill and they paid people 88 cents a day. I haven't been there in ages but I do recall the name.

When my grandmother did dishes she never filled the sink with water...
she did that to conserve and it was a habit she never broke.

I know the left is trying to destroy the western world... But we have
    to wake up.
