    Trump has indicated that, as far as he's concerned, there will be no postponement for the import tariff deal. If there's no agreement, import tariffs on goods from the EU will go up to 20%. The "peace president" continues to seek conflicts. Incidentally, it remains appalling that he still doesn't understand how import tariffs work...

    I am not as concerned about the inane policies coming out of the White House as much I am about the innaction of the legislative brach, and the questionable recent decisions by SCOTUS.

    If the 2 other branches of the government work the way they are supposed to, it shouldn't matter who we have in the oval office. That is how the system of checks / balances was supposed to work.

    The Supreme court said... District Judges cannot make law out of Whole Cloth... Districted Judges see cases in a district and make decisions on that case.

    BTW, someone in THAT case can appeal... But that District Judge can make decisions on that case.

    Moreover, Legislators can legislate new laws for for judges to interpret... But judges don't make law.

    Justice ACB put it best in saying yes... Presidents aren't above the law, either are Judges. And District Judges have exceeded their authority.
