Most people know that. The ones making noise live in states where it is not legal. Harris campaigned on making it legal at the national level, which could be done provided that her party had also won both houses, and that they were also capable of crafting (and passing!) a bill that passed Constitutional muster.

Yep - I'm in Tennessee and the ones on the left here like to say we

they do NOT say is that the majority of the population WANT

Ya... It's funny. I didn't really understand what I was voting for there... I heard the Governor come out and talk on these 2 amendments... The language is important.... Having Abortion enshrined as a "RIGHT"
will allow the left to push the f*&k out of this until they get legal abortions in the 8th, 9th and 10th months. They also wanted to remove certified doctor from the current verbiage to "Health Care Professional" so that anyone can perform and abortion...

Yea, if there's no law making abortion illegal, then there's no need for
a law "to make it legal." In New York they tricked us with a referendum that "guarantees equal rights for all people." We already had "equal rights for all people," but this trick now gives equal rights to "all people including illegal immigrants." I didn't fall for it but it passed.

Eric S. Raymond had a good one on X on that topic:
I have a message for 4B women from the sane men of America. We fully support your sex strike! And we are especially enthusiastic about the practice you're developing of shaving your heads to signal that you're
not sexually available to men.
This solves a real problem for us. We know two things: (1) sticking your dick in crazy is a really bad idea, and (2) more than 40% of liberal-identifying women of marriageable age have diagnosed mental illnesses.
By adopting abstinence and identifying yourselves in a visible way, you are going a long way towards solving our problem of identifying the crazies so we can avoid even wanting to get entangled with them.
This is excellent. On behalf of the men of America, I thank you, and I hope you will soon persuade all women who feel the way you do to shave their heads. In fact, we would love it if your recognition signal were even less ambiguous. Maybe tattooing a big NO on your foreheads?
Peace, out.

the number of 70% comes when people are asked if women can have an abortion in the first trimester... That number drops significantly for late term abortion.

I was watching (by accident, nothing else was on) the Cuomo show
Wednesday night on NewsNation. He had Bill O'Reilly in as a guest. I hate to disappoint anyone expecting Trump to keep his "mass deporations" promise because, as Bill pointed out, once they are on US soil they have
a right to due-process, and due-process for that many illegals is going
to take a while.
Bill pointed out that Trump could still do some things, like suspending new asylum claims until the current mess is accounted for, and also getting with the President of Mexico to have Mexican troops put back on their Southern and Northern borders to help us stem the flow.
But there will very likely be no mass deportations.
I'm concerned that states like New York will try to shield illegal immigrants from deportation, but Trump said that he will defund sanctuary cities, so at least I will win one way or the other.
Take away their free housing, food, money, etc. and most will deport themselves.
In 2021, second and third trimester abortions only accounted for 7% of total abortions in the 41 states (plus New York City) that report their data to the CDC. Only *1%* were in the third trimester.
So, depending on what you mean by "late-term," 60% of 7%, or 1%, is not that many at all.

I get what you're saying, and for all I know that might be the law. But this isn't something that Trump can quietly walk away from. There are a lot of people counting on him to do something about this. Maybe he can at least incarcerate them, or something.

As a compromise in my thinking I said... Abortions in the first trimester... The baby during that time sort of resembles a clump of tissue. Doesn't matter
if you were raped... or you use abortion as a form of birth control. 1st semester.
Abortions after that point can't be elective... Don't get your calculator out and try to minimize the affect... Ooooooohhhh it's only a few 1000 or 10s of thousands... Its smaller than some rounding errors in the Federal budget ... Nancy made more on stock trades in 2024 so far than babies aborted late term.
If their is a woman who wants to abort the baby late-term... She should have a
Cesarean and put the baby up for adoption.
My prediction has somewhat come true already: the hotels might not be closed yet, but NYC mayor Adams announced that he's no longer giving the migrants the $300 per week prepaid debit cards. (They will have t rape and pillage for their money from here on out.)
Oh, ya. Several people opined that simply not giving the illegals free stuff will cause them to deport themselves.

fair trial. I would also point out that I *think* they also share the right of a speedy trial, which they currently are *not* getting.
So unless Trump decides to break the law, there will be no mass deporations. If he decides to break the law, that would set a bad precident as the suspending of due process for these persons could open the door for similar things being done to citizens.

Most abortions (93%) happened in the first trimester.
Throwing a "60% of late term" number out, making it sound like a big number, is inaccurate. It would come out to 4 out of every 100 total abortions, or 4%. If "late term" is third trimester only, it would come out to 1 out of every 200, or 0.5%.
There's nothing you can do to convince me... It's only 100,000 babies terminated in the later months.
Lets make it law... 1st trimester and any point after that... Cannot be elective and has to be a valid reason to terminate it... and the baby is not viable.
Every time someone brings this up the Democrats go nuts.

If I use your percentage - 60% elective after the first trimester - and the percentage of abortions that are not first trimester - 7% - there
has been no year where that would account for 100,000 babies. It would

No but they are "screwed" either way - they will be outta here.He promised bloody deportations. I can only hope that doesn't happen.
Why would deportations have to be bloody,
Does fucking deportations involve coitus?
I disagree with the concept of mass deportations. It is a simple as that.
They are eating the dogs, they are eating the cats, they are eating the pets of the people who live there. These are the words of Donald Trump
on the debate stage. It was all lies.
The GOP today has control of the white house, the senate and the house.houl
They can collectively make laws around immigration and execute those laws as they should. I hope they will do that and stop saying that the president
do that/something.

You don't know what they've been eating, unless you've been dissecting them and/or analyzing their poop.
Have you been doing that?
Aside from a viral FB post, which the original poster has since
apologized for, there has been no evidence of Haitian migrants eating
pets in Springfield, Ohio.
The lady caught on video after supposedly eating someone's pet was in Canton, was an *American* citizen, and was known to police due to her history of mental issues.

Why would deportations have to be bloody, and why did you characteriz this as bloody?
I didn't make this characterization, Donald Trump did. Many times at his rallies.
That solves one mystery, but there have been other reports of migrants eating livestock. Everybody has to eat something. I know desperate people who eat squirrels and bear meat every day.
If we have Americans who are allowed to work eating squirrels and bear meat every day, what will migrants without visas eat?

He said mass deportation, not bloody... Well, bloody if some the people are menstruating.
Trump supposedly did say the deportations would be a "bloody story" but I will also note that any references I have found to this have all been
behind ad or pay walls and I cannot access the context of the quote.

Getting into the US might...
If we have Americans who are allowed to work eating squirrels and bear m every day, what will migrants without visas eat?
Squirrel is supposedly good eating. I had a bear steak once and thought it was really tough to chew.

My nephew eats this awful stuff because he likes to save money. He was munchin
on a bag of bear meat in my car and it made my car stink for a couple days.
He tried to get me to eat some but I refused.

Yea. Good point!
It's entering the USA illegally that involves coitus!

The Democrats are all in your face about sex... But they are blind to
the fact that kids and women are sold into sex slavery during this process...

When they say "My body, my choice," they're really talking about other peoples' bodies.
Not "blind". "Willfully blind". They choose to ignore the sex
trafficing (mostly because their leaders participate in it).
For anyone whose case has not already been adjudicated, they will need to have a hearing/trial before they can be deported. I have *no* problems with them being deported upon their case being adjudicated. I also have *no* problems with suspending asylum claims until the current mess is worked out.
BTW, I just helped someone with the paperwork to get her Green Card. She got it a week or so ago.
Fill out the paperwork and be legal... or get tossed!!!

That's true... Wait until P. Diddy trial starts and names are released... Epstein's client list...
We need Matt as AG!!!

I just wonder how history will view us...
Good. I have friends that have gone about it the legal way. They get hassled when they visit home and them come back. Not sure why we hassle the legal ones so much while seeming to coddle the ones that are not.
I wouldn't count on Matt releasing the Epstein list. He might just be on it.
I see that we already made Ellen flee the country.
We need Matt as AG!!!
Very much so. He'll be a very busy person for the next 4 years.
When I go to Canada I use my Canadian passport and the same when I go to The US... They get my US passport.
I still get static from time to time... It's like the border guard has nothing better to do.
They don't. Most of our border officers are recent immigrants.

Someone just reminded me that it wasn't that long ago that women wereemandin
the right to invade men's spaces. Now women complain that men are invading their spaces.
Ya, the rumor is that the RINOs made it clear that they wouldn't
"approve" Gaetz (my understanding is that Congress doesn't have veto
power here, only approve and consent - so I don't know why we would
care, but...) so he stepped back because Trump wants to start moving Day 1.
