My favourite Registry cleaner no longer works

    I use three.
Wise registry cleaner, the one built into CCLeaner and one built into
Glary. These are all the free versions.
    BTW, where have you been?
For that matter, where has everyone been?
Its been always quiet around here the last several weeks, others than Daryl's Burma Shave auto posts.

    Thanks; i'll give those a shot. . . :)

I've been busy chasing down old & new health issues, mostly centering around pain. . . But I survived, so I'm a winner, still!

Yup, those olde Burma Shave ads. .

I've never seen one in situ. . .

    George,

As long as we're still on this side of the grass.

Yup, those olde Burma Shave ads. .

Pentrex, who puts out railroad/train related DVD's (originally they
were in VHS format) put out a video "The Signs And Rhymes Of Burma
Shave". It covered the history of Burma Shave, and where it is today.
I'm not sure if you can buy the products anymore, but those who were
lucky enough to collect the old signs, those are now collectors items,
and probably worth quite a bit of money.

You can also search on the Internet for lists of these old rhymes,
as that's what I did to set up the daily posts with the Today In
    History program.

Personally, I hate shaving with a passion...and in some countries,
the women don't shave their legs. With athletic swimming, though,
the athletes, male and female, shave the excess hair off of their
anatomies (possibly even in the groin area), because it has been
proven that hair is a drag on momentum/movement in the water. That
could keep them from winning a higher award, or in the case of the
    Olympics, a more prestigious medal.

Of course, there's the "blonde joke" of the blonde who won a gold
medal, but went right out and had it bronzed. <G>

Sean Penn recently visited Ukraine and donated one of his Oscars to Zelinsky. I wonder if some well-meaning person would bronze it! :D

I am back to letting y head & face regrow itself into the Sasquatch-like fur covering everyone knows & loves on me! *LOL* My son has the body hair I never developed, & looks even more sasquatch-y, especially as his feet are like mine have always been -- a combination of small boats & flippers.

Yup, wins by 0.01 second are not unheard of in the Olympics. (the true "Big O" for amateur athletes)

I think she won it for the 400m breast stroke & complained the other women were using their arms & feet?

I saw a meme once where this guy was walking with a toupee' (sp?) on his head, and this cat snatched it right off. I guess if he was to purchase a replacement, and he didn't have cash on hand, it'd be a case of toupee' or
    not toupee'. <G>
