    Hello John!

I'm really not a big fan of series with superheroes
because mostly I find it so incredibly difficult to
suspend my disbelief and/or they're almost always poorly
written... so I'd be happy to find one that breaks the
    mold.

From this description, that's not the one. just seeing the
"sentence" in there: "And to rule man you must crush his
wills." That's enough to put me off.

Uh-oh.. the powerful language of "The Flaming Wrath of Arelor"
has lots of that. :/ ..or it could be the one that "breaks
the mold" that you seek! :D

I certainly donç't consider my novels to belong to the superhero genre. Maybe I could sell them as such with some repackaging.

Urban Fantasy used to be what sold in the Fantasy sector. Nowadays what sells are dystopias. I can't easyly repackage my work and make it pass as those. Too bad.

The language is tough. Much like the language that John
mentioned, eg. "we will crush you". But I never perceived
your stories with a superhero or villian in mind. Unless Arelor
    is kind of like that?

Dystopia is still a hot one. People can't seem to get enough of
reading about tradegy and adversity and struggles.
