Fortunately, yes. And they bought complete sets of a couple of
YA/fantasy stuff of which they said they could not find in a
much larger brick'n'mortar store elsewhere. And my copies were
relatively recent, or at least included the most recent release
in each series. The pair walked out with about 5 hefty books
each.
When I operated a brick and mortar store, I had lots of
people walk in. They were all smiles and good words and
nobody ever bought a thing. That is the reason why the
store is online now hahaha.
They say a bookshop needs to offer other product such as
coffee, or gifts, or toys, etc. Maybe a gift coupon for a free
horse ride would have worked for you! LOL
But.. are you referring to your drug/health and geriatric
products shop? Did you close the physical shop to the public
entirely now? I would suppose you still need a way to receive
shipments though.
