  • Getting Old

    At my age, "getting lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came in here for.

    Old age is coming at a really bad time.

    I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do the second week.

    Last week I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet.

    For me getting lucky refers more to the toilet than the bed!

    Three rules for seniors:
    1. Never trust a fart.
    2. Never pass a bathroom.
    3. Never waste a hard-on.

    A poem:
    Procrastination is my sin;
    It brings me endless sorrow.
    I really must stop doing it;
    In fact, I'll start tomorrow!

    I learned that one 35+ years ago & promptly memorized it, as it was just so "me."

    I do admit I'm a bit of a procrastinator too. You know, sometimes it pays off, as some problems either sort themselves out, or dissapear by the time you get around to them.
