Hi, Bj?rn Felten!
I read your message from 15.08.2024 21:57
BF> I just love Russian humour. During the darkest Stalin years,
BF> the jokes about him were legendary. And now it's Putin's turn:
BF> Putin, after 10 days of Kursk catastrophe, summons Stalin's
BF> ghost: Stalin: "What's happened?" Putin: "Nazis are at Kursk!
BF> My army is beaten! What should I do?" Stalin: "Do like me in
BF> 1943. Send the best Ukrainian troops to the front, and ask the
BF> US for arms!"
IMHO, this Ukraine invasion in Kursk region is politically profitable
for Putin. And in addition, Ukraine having extended the front line will
really suffer after Putin sends his troops to Kursk region. However
maybe, the current situation is more profitable as it is. It justifies a
lot of things in this war.
Looks like the Palestinian invasion in Israel -- Israelis pretended to
be taken by surprise, ;-) but they wanted to be looked like that.
Bye, Bj?rn!
