i visited a c64 bbs.

Cool. I doubt the "Games" on there are traditional door games, but still looks cool.
Especially ones written in something like Java that can be used on any OS/BBS.

Not that i can think of. Just saying that since Java seems to be the universal programing language that it would make sense.
Then you would have to compile the same program for multiple platforms.
