  • Board Master and Fossil...

    Can anyone get Board Master 2.4 to work with a fossil driver? I'm using a windows 7 Pro 32/bit VM with Ele/32 and netfoss. It works with doorway, but some keys don't (namely 1 and 2) and the status bar is too big so it doesn't look very appealing. The filename is: bmstr24.zip and I got it from http://breakintohat.com/wiki/Board_Master.

    I have no remote display of the game, which is probably a fossil issue from experience. The docs don't mention fossil support. I'm using the current
    1.25 version of Netfoss. I've rarely run into this issue but can't seem to
    get around it.

    I installed this door in a Synchronet for Windows install (Windows 10-64 with NTVDMx64), and it worked right away:

    But that appears to be due to Synchronet's virtual UART driver. When I configured Synchronet to execute the door in FOSSIL-only mode, the door would not output anything.

    with doorway you can limit the amount of lines you show just for cutting off the status bar.
    not sure why 1 and 2 wont work.

    you probably can't run it unless you want to try cioxtrn

    I talked with Mike, and Doorway can only eliminate 1 status line. 1 & 2
    worked for him, but for some reason doesn't on my system. Weird.

    I tried that, but couldn't find much in the way of helpful docs. It opens a seperate window that doesn't seem to send anything to the previous windows output. I'd guess I just can't run this. I was hoping to because it has
    IBBS functionality.
