Me, I sell car parts at AutoZone amd cuss the kiddies at the home office who constantly futz with the OS (in Linux) the we use on the terminals
at the counter. I really hate it when I try to access something that
used to was easy to get to and has been buried under layers of menus
and steps. Or hidden entirely and must be accessed by opening another program - like the catalogs for lawnmowers/garden tractors aor ATVs
and motorcycles/scooters or the Heavy Truck stuff.
If AutoZone sells any of those "fart pipe" tailpipes, I hope you are not selling them to the kiddies who decide it is cool to put one on a Mustang.
What are you calling a "fart pipe"? I'm not familiar with that usage.
Tailpipes that restrict the flow of exhaust (opposite of a glass pack)
and cause the car to sound like a motorcycle with a very shrill exhaust note.
We sell glass packs and headers and some "speed shop" stuff. The "speed" equipment doesn't move very well. And most of the glass packs are sold as replacements for resonators or mufflers that are *expensaive* in direct replacement configurations. And catalytic converters? Fuggitaboudit
People just steal those anyway. :)
It's all gonna become moot as we transition to 'leck-trick vehicles.
One of my local stupormarkups is installing charging stations along
one edge of their parking lot using the same marketing philosophy that
I have pitched to my regional manager. Whule they are waiting for their charge to complete they can come inside and shop. It's a win/win.
