• Best copy?

From Ken Nischan@1:275/89 to All on Wed May 15 12:06:41 2024
    Hello.

What's the best copy at which one can get B5? I have the DVD set, and the quality is pretty crap. I can't find a 4K version anywhere. I was happy when Star Trek got a 4K version, but I read that it was not an easy thing to produce so I was thinking maybe B5 just never was able to. Anyone know if there is a version floating around somewhere that is better than 720 x 480?

    Thanks!

    It looks pretty nice :)
I don't know if it's available on BluRay, but AFAIK it's on some
    streaming services.

Thanks. I must be brain damaged; I can't believe I didn't do the obvious and check the big streamers first lol. For some reason I didn't think they had it.
I bought S04E15 to test it out. It's not *great*, but it's definitely better than my 480p copy I have now. Thanks. Makes me want to pick up the BD now to see if having the 1080p uncompressed helps even more.

I'm using a 142 inch screen, so the more res the better. This 480 version at that size feels like it has pixels the size of my thumb, lol
