    Hi Rudi,

Happy to announce that AfterShock 1.6.8 is available for downloading
    from the following URL:

Nice to know that Aftershock development will continue.

I've had issues after upgrading from 1.6.8-alpha5 to this new 1.6.8 release. The Echo list showed 0 messages in all my areas, and when I tried to enter an echo I got this error:

Unable to access the message base:
    Bad internal database version

I've tried closing and reopening the app, rebooting my phone, but still the same.

So I've reinstalled the 1.6.8-alpha5 apk and now everything works again.

Ok i will let Anatoly know this but one question do you have used for your storage a SD path as this is not working on newer Android versions for now, but Anatoly is working on it.

Did you upgrade from 1.6.7 or 1.6.8 alpha? Did you already have mails and echos?

It has caught my attention that this release weighs 1.43 MB, but alpha5 was bigger - 2MB.

I think it was from 1.6.6. Yes, there were mails and echos.

But now I'm seeing crashes. :( Sometimes it just doesn't load, and sometimes it crashes when polling.

    Android 12 in Samsung A52.

I just tried again upgrading from alpha5 in an old tablet (Android 4.4.2) that has no SD. Same issue.

I have uninstalled alpha5 in this old tablet, done a fresh install of the new 1.6.8 release (reconfiguring everything again and rescanning a couple echos), and seems to work fine.

The app was hanging when I tried to reply, but I remembered that happened when you haven't set the Reply header in Settings.

    Hi Rudi,

No, it's in the internal storage.

    Ok good to know.

Just a clarification. It's not in the SD card, but I've seen that in Aftershock settings I have "external storage" selected, that I guess is the default.

Anyway the app files are in the internal storage. (I suppose that you must select a custom path to use the SD, though I haven't tested.)
