    If you reply to a message that has lines ending in CRLF instead of just CR, Aftershock quotes it like this:

    ====

    This is quoted text...
    ====

    instead of:

    ====
    This is quoted text...
    ====

    It happens when you reply with Aftershock to messages generated from OpenXP and some from Synchronet, unless some tosser (like hpt) filters the LF's.

    I agree. This has caused some issues with people complaining that it it is messing up messages.

    In the meantime, as a workaround, you can try setting StripLineFeeds to true in your sbbsecho.ini
    https://wiki.synchro.net/config:sbbsecho.ini#root_section

    Not sure if it only works for messages exported from the SBBS messagebase or if it does for all PKTs.

    I'm not posting such a message here because most likely the LF's will be removed by my two uplinks for this echo (both use hpt).

    I've sent a test netmail for you directly to your bossnode. Let's hope Ward's software doesn't remove them and you can check the issue.

    Try this one. I seem to have been having the problem.
